I cover all the things that we as Richmonders do to make this city a better place to live, work, eat, explore, play and party. Positive news! See my posts on Richmond.com
For those of you that have followed my blog, Richmond Outside (formerly the James River News Hub), you know that I volunteer often all over Richmond, but mainly at the James River and in many of Richmond’s parks for cleanups, trail building, parking lot management and so on. I love the James, and that blog helped me to share my passion for the river. In fact, I love Richmond, the outdoors and the James so much that I’ve gone back to school to get my Master’s in Urban Planning at VCU. I want to be part of the solution for the region. I promote the ideal of “Getting Things Done” often and figure joining the fray is the best way to help.
That said, I can’t just be the River Guy for www.Richmond.com, and I don’t want to be. Before I got started being the River Guy, I was the “Discover Richmond Guy,” where I got to go all over Richmond with my family to parks, museums, gardens, ball games, concerts and historic places all over the Richmond area. I’m doing that again, and I hope you come along.
